WINTER CAMPING INITIATION

From January 6 to March 13 2022

La Rose-des-Vents invites you to participate in an extraordinary adventure by introducing you to winter camping. Come try the experience of sleeping outside, in a comfortable and safe way with a professional guide who will make you discover winter pleasures in a unique way!

The activity takes place in the heart of nature, a little away from the picturesque village of Ste-Rose-du-Nord.

The adventure requires an intermediate physical level, that means that the participants must be able to cover 3 km on snowshoes while carrying a backpack of about 50 liters. However, the activity does not require any technical level in winter camping.

Schedule

Day 1:
Arrival at the Auberge Aventure Rose-des-Vents;
Meeting with the guide;
Introduction to the basics of winter camping;
Preperation;
Snowshoe hike (3 km);
Overnight in winter camping in a tent.

Day 2
Return to the hostel;
End.
